Resun water chillers offer many advantages in Hydroponic systems, Enhanced plant growth, Disease prevention, Improved oxygen availability, Control of algae, Consistent nutrient solution temperature and Increased system efficiency 

  • Microcomputer controlled, features a digital LCD display for accurate temperature reading and easy adjustment. Inbuilt temperature memory system.
  • Titanium Evaporator, built with a commercial-grade, pure titanium heat exchanger, making it completely safe for both freshwater and corrosive seawater applications.
  • Heat Load, unit flow rate from 2500 Litres per hour up to 4000 Litres per hour suitable for Reservoirs - Tanks up to 1500 Litres. This 1500 Litre rating is based on an ambient temperature of around 25°C to 30°C and standard equipment loads. If your setup uses intense lighting or produces a high ambient room temperature, you may need to downsize the tank volume for optimal cooling
  • Refrigeration capacity 2700w, water can be refrigerated to any degree above - 4°Celsius in a short period of time with correct Tank - Reservoir selection
  • Pump Selection, getting the right flow rate is critical. Too little flow makes the chiller inefficient, while too much flow doesn't give the water enough time to cool inside the titanium heat exchanger. Always stick within the 2500 to 4000 Litres per hour pump output range
  • Ventilation, because this unit expels heat as it cools your water, ensure the chiller is placed in a well ventilated cool area so it doesn’t overheat and cause the internal compressor to work harder. Seperate environment will improve efficency.
  • Built in 3 Minute Start-Up Delay, when the internal microcomputer detects that the water temperature is too warm and calls for cooling, it triggers a 3 minute built-in delay on startup. During this window, the green "Cool" indicator light on the digital display will blink. Once the 3 minutes have passed, the light turns solid and the compressor safely clicks on to begin chilling
  • Thermostat Shutdown, when the chiller naturally reaches your target temperature, the compressor and cooling fan will shut down instantly without a countdown or delay
