Rockwool® & Stonewool

Rockwool® is a Trade marked name other brands call the product Stonewool. Both Rockwool® and Stonewool are a uniform substrate made from basalt rock that is processed at a very high temperature. Both Rockwool® and Stonewool are a clean, inert substrate suitable for vegetables, ornamentals or any plant. These products give the grower full control over what is happening in the substrate from propagation to harvest. Rockwool® and Stonewool don't bind nutrients - fertilisers like other substrates any nutrients - fertilisers that are applied to Rockwool® and Stonewool are fully available for the plants to absorb providing an ideal growing substrate
