Autopot AQUAbox Spyder Watering Valve Kit for Raised beds and Gardens

AQUAbox Spyder layout capillary lines powered by the Aqua valve, Power-Free Operation the Aqua valve, a key component of every AutoPot Watering System, controls the flow of water to the plants using simple gravity pressure from any size reservoir. This means no pumps, mains water pressure, electricity, or timers are required.

The AQUAbox Spyder is designed to water and feed plants of all types and sizes that are grown directly in the soil. Positioned directly into the ground the AQUAbox Spyder is ideal for watering raised beds, gardens, large hydroponic style trays containing fabric pots, root pots, PB bags.

AQUAbox Spyder is attached by multiple capillary wicks that distributes water under the soil, across an area of approximately 1.2 square metres. With an AQUAvalve at its core, the AQUAbox Spyder draws on the water supply from your water reservoir or tank as required by the plants, ensuring incredibly efficient use of water. The roots of the plants instinctively head towards the water source, attaching themselves to the capillary wicks below the soil level.

The kit is supplied with 2 metres of 6mm blue hose and a reducing connector with an integral filter, allowing simple connection to a reservoir - tank or water barrel tap via a section of standard garden hose (not supplied). A spirit level in the lid of the AQUAbox ensures that the AQUAbox is level once positioned in the ground

The system uses the AQUAvalve5 which is exceptionally responsive, opening to supply water to a 20mm depth in the box before closing. Once the capillary wick has used this supply, the valve reopens to repeat the cycle. There's no need to guess plant requirements, compensate for conditions, or recalibrate unnecessary pumps or computers.
