Clonex Red is for Hardwood cuttings, this root hormone gel promotes root growth for propagation. The 'Red' variety has been designed specifically for hard to root plant varieties and for use on hardwood cuttings. Clonex Red stimulates root development and enhances growth, ensuring robust and healthy cuttings. No mixing required so no mess, simply cut a 5-15cm piece on an angle and dip the lower 1.5cm into the clonex and plant immediately

How It Works

The active ingredient is a plant hormone which stimulates root growth in cuttings for propagation

Ingredients

8g/L Indolybutryic Acid (8g/L Indole-3-Butryic Acid)

Directions for use

Remove the bottom one third to one half of the leaves from the cutting. Make a clean diagonal cut across the base of the cutting, just below the leaf node

Dip the lower 1.5cms into Yates Clonex Red and shake off any excess gel

Place the cutting into a Stonewool or Rockwool® Cube, Jiffy 7 or Yates Seed Raising Mix
