Using unique Adjusta A Wing designed micro reflectors for even intense and deeper penetration 

Dial in the perfect spectrum equipped with 3 x independent channels Veg + Bloom + UV for spectral diversity and control. The Veg channel is full-spectrum, rich in Blue. Bloom is also full-spectrum, rich in Red + Far Red, and UV provides UVA + Near Blue for a fine finish!

  • Propagation - Gradually increase the intensity of the vegetative channel as your plants develop. Some UV can help to strengthen seedlings and cuttings.
  • Vegetative growth - Blue dominant spectrum helps to keep plants squat and bushy, making them easier to illuminate efficiently during the bloom phase.
  • Bloom - Increase the Bloom channel after the initial development of flowers. The extra Red and Far Red promote branching and help to increase flower size and density.
  • Flower ripening - Additional UV during the final few weeks can help to boost flavours, colours and essential oils. Try leaving all channels on full and raising the fixture 50mm to 100mm if ceiling height permits.

Master controller hints & proposed Sunrise and Sunset settings for use in timer mode 

If this is your first time using the LED Master Controller, you will need to set the correct time

We also recommend changing the default channel names from CH1, CH2, CH3 to Veg, Bloom, UV matching the channel names on your Hellion VS3 LED grow light

Press the “System Set” in the bottom righthand corner of the Master Controller

  1. Under the “Channels Name Alter” section:
  2. Press CH1 and enter “Veg” for the channel name, followed by the TICK icon in the top right corner.
  3. Press CH2 and enter “Bloom” for the channel name, followed by the TICK icon in the top right corner.
  4. Press CH3 and enter “UV” for the channel name, followed by the TICK icon in the top right corner.
  5. Under the “Output Channel Select” section, make sure Channels 1, 2, and 3 are all set to ON.
  6. Finally, make sure that the displayed time is set to the current time and press the TICK icon in the top right corner. 

Operating the Timer

  • Press the “Timer Mode” icon
  • Then press the “+” icon to enter new time + channel information
  • After this set the time on the 24 hour clock using the up/down arrows. Set channel percentages using the sliding bars
  • Press the “✓” icon to save your settings
  • Press the “+” icon to enter more time + channel settings, or press “✓” to turn the timer on and complete the task

Note the “Timer On”  icon must be showing and coloured green to be operational.

Please also ensure your LED light is switched to the EXT setting on the fixture  

Hint Enter a few different time and channel settings, one minute apart, connect a Hellion LED and observe the changes as the timer controls them             

Run through the process a few times making sure all intended changes proceed as planned and you should become proficient in no time. 

You can program 2 x Separate channels if you have 2 separate growing environments or a requirement for 2 separate zones using the Garden A and Garden B outlet connections & settings. Ensure you connect the RJ11 data cable into the appropriate outlet socket.
