Optimal Expansion Method

  • Place the block in a large tub capable of holding at least 25 litres of water and up to 60 plus litres of expanded coir
  • Add 10 to 15 litres of water, leave for a 5 -10 minutes to expand
  • Use a small hand trowel or your hands to break off any loose material, allowing water to soak into the block quicker
  • Add water as required until you get a nice, fluffy product. You may need up to 25 litres of water per block
  • Used in the cultivation of many varities of plants including: 

    Tomatoes  Cucumbers    Peppers  Aubergines
