Co2 Regulator & Solenoid Set
Give you plants a boost of Co2 by adding a Co2 Regulator & Solenoid set to your grow room or grow tent tool kit. Simple to use and highly effective fitted with a precise flow gauge, allowing accurate measurement of Co2 dosing. The regulator fits standard Co2 hire tanks, simply tighten the brass threaded couplings for a secure flow without any leaks.
- Robust solenoid valve fitted with 230 volt NZ standard 3 pin plug
- 40mm high pressure gauge 0-4000 psi
- Flowmeter 0-15 scfh - Standard Cubic Feet Per Hour
- Durable brass coupling fits standard NZ hire Co2 threaded bottle connections
- Hose tail outlet suits 4.2 mm inside diameter hose, you can use either 4mm Air line or 4mm soft tube
You can find arguments around the optimum level of Co2 for plant growth, starting at 800ppm, 1,000ppm, 1,200ppm and 1,500ppm. We recommend starting at 1,000ppm, then adjusting your Co2 levels over time with experience. Co2 levels below 400ppm and above 1,500ppm will reduce plant growth. Co2 alone will not guarantee plant growth. Good growing media, nutrients, watering, light and cleanliness must be achieved in combination with enhanced Co2 levels for optimum results.
Circulating fans inside the grow area pointed at the Co2 tube coming from the regulator will help circulate the Co2 in the air for maximum benefit. You can also connect the regulator to a length of tubing pre-punched with pin holes that is strung around the top of the grow room so that the Co2 will "drop" on the plants. Co2 is heavier than air so will fall towards the floor.
- You should never run Co2 during the dark period.
- Temperatures above 27°C over time can result in elongated stems and lower yields
Co2 commonly known as Carbon Dioxide is in the air you’re breathing right now.
All plants do need Co2 as part of the process of making energy from light via photosynthesis, without sufficient Co2 your plants will suffer
Increasing the Co2 levels allows your plants to use more of the available light, which results in increased photosynthesis. Your plants will produce more energy from the same amount of light when extra Co2 is used. In return you will notice faster more vigorous growth resulting in a bigger and better overall yield
